NEUROTOXIN INJECTIONS

Neurotoxin Injection Treatments in Bend, Oregon

At Alpenaura Plastic Surgery, we believe smoothing away the lines that make you look tired or upset — without changing who you are in the mirror — is quality-of-life medicine. Serving patients throughout Bend, Central Oregon, and the greater Pacific Northwest, we offer two neurotoxin options so your treatment plan can be matched to your goals, your anatomy, and your budget: Letybo (K-Tox) and Dysport.

Neurotoxin injections (often called by the brand name “Botox,” though we don’t carry that specific product) use a purified form of botulinum toxin type A to temporarily relax the small facial muscles responsible for expression lines. By softening the muscle contractions that create these lines over years of squinting, frowning, and smiling, neurotoxins smooth existing wrinkles and help prevent new ones from deepening.

LETYBO (K-TOX)

Letybo (K-Tox) — What It Is

Letybo is a botulinum toxin type A product manufactured by Hugel, a South Korean pharmaceutical company, and has grown into one of the most widely used neurotoxins in Asia before expanding into the U.S. market. Like other neurotoxins, it works by blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles. Many patients choose Letybo as part of our signature AlpenGlo K-Beauty Facial, where it’s paired with UltraClear laser resurfacing and topical exosomes for a comprehensive rejuvenation approach.

DYSPORT

Dysport — What It Is

Dysport is a long-established botulinum toxin type A formulation known for a fast onset and a slightly wider spread of effect, which some patients and injectors prefer for larger treatment areas like the forehead. It has years of clinical use and is a familiar, trusted option for patients who want reliable, predictable results.

We’ll help you decide which product fits your goals, treatment area, and preferences at your consultation — there’s no wrong choice, just different tools for different needs.

What to Expect

Treatment takes about 10–15 minutes with virtually no downtime — many patients treat their neurotoxin over a lunch break and return straight to work. Results typically begin appearing within 3–7 days, with full effect at around two weeks, and generally last three to four months depending on the area treated and your individual metabolism. The exact number of units you’ll need depends on your muscle strength, treatment area, and aesthetic goals, and is always determined individually during your consultation — we never estimate this without seeing you in person.

What's the difference between Letybo and Dysport?

Both are botulinum toxin type A products that work through the same basic mechanism, but they differ in formulation, dosing units, and how they spread once injected. Your injector will recommend the product and unit count best suited to your treatment area at your consultation.

This varies significantly by treatment area and by individual muscle strength — there’s no universal number. Your provider will assess your anatomy and discuss a personalized plan during your visit.

Most patients describe it as a quick pinch. We use very fine needles, and treatment is brief.

Typically three to four months, though this varies by individual. Many patients find results last slightly longer with consistent, regular treatment over time.

Absolutely. We treat men and women, often with different injection patterns tailored to preserve natural, gender-appropriate expression and brow shape.

Yes — many patients combine neurotoxin with dermal filler, UltraClear laser resurfacing, or our AlpenGlo K-Beauty Facial for more comprehensive rejuvenation. We’ll discuss what makes sense for your goals at consultation.
